Habits of Successful Construction Contractors

Boise State University has added a new online MBA with an emphasis on construction management, with classes beginning in August.

The Master of Business Administration program is designed for those interested in becoming leaders in construction, architecture and engineering industries while still working. The university’s course description says students will learn to manage construction projects and teams from planning to execution.

The program is completely digital, with no print textbooks. The $36,750 tuition for the program, which can be completed within 12 months, includes all digital textbooks and course materials, the university says.

Courses are seven weeks long, and the university offers six course start dates each year.

“With this emphasis, we focus on the increasingly integrated nature of the construction industry,” Construction Management Department Chair Casey Cline said. “We’re helping to prepare students to lead in a changing landscape where technology, people and business are more important than ever.”

The application deadline for the August 26 session is August 5. Another round of applications will be accepted for the October 21 session by September 30.
