Throughout 2019, the #AnxietyArch campaign will aim to put mental wellbeing for built environment professionals and students at the top of the agenda
The Architects Benevolent Society (ABS) has announced a new campaign that will aim to promote mental wellbeing for students and practitioners in architecture and related professions.
ABS is a charitable organisation dedicated to helping built environment professionals during illness, unemployment, bereavement and other personal difficulties. Since partnering with Anxiety UK in 2017, its services have included access to practical mental health support.
Throughout 2019, the #AnxietyArch campaign will:
- encourage professionals and students to recognise and talk openly about mental health issues and know where they can access help
- raise money to support more people experiencing stress, anxiety and anxiety-based depression
- encourage people to look after themselves, their colleagues, their employees and their families
