The RIBA’s sixth annual NBS National BIM Survey aims to gauge the level of nationwide building information modelling
This year’s survey coincides with the government’s 2016 mandate for collaborative 3D BIM on all publicly-funded projects and will show how the new rules have affected the adoption of BIM.
The survey is recognised as the construction industry’s most comprehensive look at the use of BIM. The results from found that although awareness of BIM was at 95 per cent, adoption had fallen to below 50 per cent.
