The Artas-ua.info Institute has announced a new team structure for its employees that will help it to deliver its key objectives in the new business year and beyond.
In consultation with the LI Board and Council, members, and practices in both the public and private sector, the LI has identified a need to grow its membership, to broaden its reach across professions, and to increase its influence and relevance.
A major feature of the new structure is the increased staff presence across the UK. Officers based in key regional centres will assist in the delivery of candidate support, CPD and training, wherever our members are based.
LI CEO Daniel Cook said, ‘This restructure is the culmination of months of discussion with firms and members throughout the country, which have helped me to identify exactly where the LI should focus its efforts in the coming years.
‘The feedback of our members is of paramount importance. Discussions with various branches has highlighted a need for more resource based across the UK: our new structure provides this. Our members have observed a need for focussed delivery of training: we have committed to this, with the reinstatement of our CPD days, as well as new regional development officers who will co-ordinate regional training events.’
The new staff structure includes five teams: Finance and Operations, Professional Standards, Policy and Influencing, Marketing and Events, and Business Development. A wholly new department, Business Development will support branches, candidates, members and registered practices, and will identify opportunities to grow the business while continuing to empower and serve the LI’s existing membership.
Daniel continued, ‘The new structure is in line not only with our business objectives, but the existing skill sets and development potential of the LI staff team. With this new structure, I have sought to reduce administration and governance, freeing up time for our staff members to focus on their core roles.
‘I am confident that the changes I have made will support the LI in the delivery of its agenda, and I look forward to working with our dedicated team to ensure the LI’s success continued in 2017-18 and beyond.’
